The 2018
Discovery Sport gives you two engine options to choose from so that you can
decide how much power you want for your driving experience. Both have an
impressive 2.0-liter turbocharged engine, but one produces 237 horsepower and
251 pound-feet of torque, while the other gives you access to 286 horsepower
and 295 pound-feet of torque.
Both
engines have comparable fuel efficiency, so it becomes a matter of whether
cutting the zero to 60 by one second is something you want for your time on the
road.
The
Discovery Sport comes equipped with a seamlessly shifting 9-speed automatic
transmission that allows for Franklin drivers to have access to the right gear
at all times. Additionally, the Haldex all-wheel drive system sends power to
the front and rear tires quickly, depending on which has the most grip.

available Surround Camera System gives you a 360Ëš view around your vehicle can
be used for a variety of maneuvers such as towing, parking in a tight spot, and
approaching the curb. You can use your touchscreen to zoom and pan, allowing
you to have all the clarity you need for your confidence.
As part of
the Driver Assist Plus Package, the Autonomous Emergency Braking system uses a
forward-facing camera to detect potential collisions and alert you to the
danger. If the driver does not act on the warning, the system will
automatically apply the brakes to mitigate the possible damage from a
collision.
